Transformers 4 - 15% of Rottentomatoes. You kinda know what youre getting when you buy a ticket for a Transformers movie and its not acting or plot. Its for things that go boom and BOOM some more. In that department, this one has tons of things that go boom. To my surprise, I actually liked this one more-so than the last two. The good: The action is about on-par with the third movie, but gone are (most) of the god-awful jokes (the parents from the first two and Ken Jeong in the third). Those jokes really stalled those movies and interrupted the flow. Also gone is that guy who thinks acting revolves around constantly shouting No-no-no-no-no, yes-yes-yes-yes, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, no, no, no, no. Its almost three hours long, but for me it went by pretty quickly. The action is almost non-stop and constantly bludgeons you, but hey, thats what you paid for. The female lead is a small upgrade over the third movie, where the model just stands around and pouts. The bad: The action, while plentiful is getting a bit stale. The villain (the robotic one) is kind of boring and didnt seem menacing enough. You like ads? Cause its like watching one long commercial for Beats, Bud Light, Victorias Secret, GM, and many more!
