Transformers’! Students remodel junked car into ‘Ferrari’ If you dream big, don’t hesitate to fulfill it. That’s the motto that drove four students from Changsha in Hunan Province to take a junked #car and remodel it into a thing of beauty. It took the students two months and roughly RMB 10,000 to transform the broken-down #Santana into a brand new “#Ferrari.” “This time we did the renovation keeping in mind the environment. Except for the brand new wheel hub, our team tried our best to use parts from the original car,” said Liao Zhiqiang, one of the students. They’ve now entered their remodeled vehicle in a competition being held by an auto school. “We hope to give our students a chance to practice their knowledge and cultivate their passion for car renovation,” said Zhang Wei, the school’s academic director.
