Transplant Shock 2 Kings 19:30 ...And the remnant who have escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward... Vision: Segments of plants were broken off, gathered together, and placed in a jar of water to root. Nourishing water was regularly added and time passed. Roots grew and became strong and hearty. Then the segments were taken out of the water and planted in a pot of dirt. The branches and leaves were no longer firm and vibrant, but they became limp and were a bit pale in color. And the Spirit says: You are experiencing transplant shock, just as shoots do when rooted and planted in new soil. It has produced a sense of insecurity that the enemy is exploiting to cause you to doubt and waver. Stay calm. Trust that the pruning was necessary and for your good, for I am making you anew. It is a hidden work cultivated by faith, not according to how you feel. Do not trust your emotional reactions, for they present false evidence that leads astray. It is vital that you consistently bring every thought and emotion under the rule of truth. The commitment to believe My Word above all else will establish and strengthen you in the spirit, which in turn will affect how you respond to your circumstances. The shock and insecurity will pass, and I will cause you to flourish vibrantly in this new environment. Do not lose heart; I am for you! Ephesians 3:16-19 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
