Trials and tribulations should increase our iman and resolve not - TopicsExpress

Trials and tribulations should increase our iman and resolve not decrease it, how many trials did the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) go through in his 23 years as a Prophet and his only concern was for his Ummah. His love for us was so great he would beg and pray for us saying “ummati, ummati(my ummah, my ummah) and we are ashamed, embarrassed and afraid to say we follow his religion and sunnah. How could we distance our self from him when he cried and said I wish that I could meet my brothers. The Sahaabah (RAA) asked: Arent we your brothers? He replied: You are my Companions, but my brothers are those who will believe in me without having seen me. Narrated by Anas ibn Malik(rAa) We must remember that the greatest gift, honor and blessing bestowed upon us is al-Islam and following in the footsteps of the greatest man ever created Muhammad peace be upon him. Regardless of how many people try to distort and portray Islam negatively through words or action it would still not change the fact that Islam is a religion of peace, justice and truth. The only way to protect your iman is to empower yourself with knowledge; read the Quran, the Seerah/biography of Prophet Muhammad and most importantly practice Islam and share it. Reclaim Islam from those who distort, misrepresent and attack it, wear your hijab, niqab, beard and Muslim identity with pride. Remember that you are only responsible for your own actions and it is for this that you will be held accountable by Allah(swt) so be a proud Muslim not a weak, apologetic, defensive Muslim. You have nothing to be sorry for but everything to be proud of you are a part of the Ummah of Muhammad peace be upon him Alhamdulillah. May Allah unite us with him in jannat al-firdose. Spread his message and follow his footsteps. #ThereIsNoGodButAllahMuhammadIsHisMessenger #BeAProudMuslim #ConveyHisMessageEvenIfOneVerse
