Trials have 3 sources; 1- God, who is testing my faith and/or developing my character. 2- Me, who made a bad decision and/or sinned, therefore putting myself in a tuff situation. 3- The devil, who wants to destroy me and will use any means/people to try and accomplish his devious plot. Discerning the source of your trials is the key to responding to them appropriately. For example; if you sin and are going though a hard time, this trials duration and outcome are determine by the speed in which you repent and allow God to deliver you. Although you will hopefully learn something from this situation, God didnt initiate this trial for your development, you made a stupid choice. These trials only end with your repentance!
