Tried Steak & Co, the new place on Soi Lengkee last night. Buffalo Wing started had a crispy batter coating and a tangy sauce with a blue cheese dip. The restaurant provided a complimentary lemon sorbet between courses, to cleanse the palate, which I thought was a nice touch. The Surf and Turf came with a lobster sauce and I opted for potato gratin as the optional side. Asked for medium cooked steak which was delivered as ordered. The prawns and steak both had an authentic chargrilled steak, however the potato gratin did not have a strong enough cheese taste for my liking and I would not order the lobster sauce again. Had tiramisu and a cappuccino to finish offer. The portion of tiramisu could not be called generous, an impression which is not helped by the size of the plate they served it on. The total check bin of 1130 baht is comparable to what a similar meal would cost at Beefeater but my personal opinion is that Beefeater is marginally better.
