Trinket was found by a lovely college girl on Old Ridge Rd, - TopicsExpress

Trinket was found by a lovely college girl on Old Ridge Rd, emaciated, and oozing pus from a horrible wound on her back that had been abscessed and burst open. Sick, starving, and in incredible pain, all she wanted was love. Judged to be between 7 months and 1 year old, she weighs just 4 pounds, well under what a cat her she should weigh. She has had surgery to clean her wounds, which are so massive and had been so infected, that they cant be closed and the tissue must heal by granulation. We have no idea what or who could have caused this trauma but we are hopeful she will make a complete recovery. In spite of all she has been through, all she does is purr constantly and make biscuits. Even when she goes through her twice daily wound cleanings which are painful, she whimpers but keeps purring. This is one very special little girl. Thanks to Judy Beery, our wonderful critical care foster who is caring for Trinket right now. As always, the cost of her medical care is very high, and any donations would be greatly appreciated. They can be sent to Orphan Angels at 5439 West Lake Road, Erie Pa, 16505 or to our Paypal link at orphanangels.org. The pictures of her wounds are fairly graphic and so will just be posted in our comments section so those who are not inclined to view them can avoid them. Anyone who wants to understand how badly she has suffered are able to view them there. Lets get this beautiful loving little girl all healed up and on her way to a wonderful new life for Christmas!
