Trip to Dallas Part 7 the last day Wed AM we went down to the non free buffet at another time warp. The hotel restaurant was all velvet drapes, banquets, arabesques frosted on the mirrors and red drums of chandeliers with chain mail . Food was eh! OK Lotsa coffee though, and Stefan again found joy in all you can eat bacon this time with French toast. So far every meal but one he ate had bacon,Back to the room to digest and relax then pack up. We took back roads back to Mesquite which was nice, went through Gentrification Central, so its not just Austin or Brooklyn thats relocating the poor! Thats when I told Stefan I got 100 bucks to spend on you , what do you need= not want. So, two pairs of cargo pants, a haircut and some groceries later, I praised my practical minded spawn, and took him to Braums He had Ice Cream for lunch ( Carole Sharber )it was a Double Dip Smores Sundae. I was hungry and got a chicken sandwich- It was as big as my head and I couldnt eat half of the damn thing, Then it was time @4 to drop Stefan back at his place, discuss that its his turn to visit and not to let 7 years go by til he does. Then driving., my first and only round of traffic that I had to deal with on this entire trip 1 hour stop and go, But I didnt get lost!!! I took the proper left lane for 35 , Im so proud!!! Driving driving only one rest stop, I wanted to get home. and I did!
