Trip update.....well were back since late last night after our 24 hr adventure out to the Porcupine Seabight on the Continental Shelf Edge. What an experience! Once weve caught up on sleep and downloaded the images, well report on the trips results. Our next availability for whale watching is tomorrow Thursday 4th Sept., and as our morning trip is now closed for bookings, we are taking names for our afternoon departure at 3:00pm. With high pressure still prevailing, the plan is to have another whale watch trip on Friday morning at 10:00am and we still have some spaces on this. Well see what Met Eireann have to say this evening about the weekend. But with plenty of fin whales now back inshore and probably humpbacks off Seven Heads, it looks like fin and humpback whale activity is building quite nicely again in West Cork inshore waters, and most importantly, this activity is within striking distance of Reen Pier and the Holly Jo.
