Tripp Norris Bobcats will remain in 3A Region 1 for football for the next two years and Area 2 in all other sports. The football region does change. There will be only 7 teams in the area instead of the usual 8 Opp, Geneva, Hillcrest-Evergreen, TR Miller, Excel, Bayside Academy, and Cottage Hill Christian Academy. With just 7 teams this will allow the Bobcats to play one more non-region game in football for the next two years. In all other sports it will be a 4 team area with the exception of volleyball which will have just 3 teams. For basketball, baseball, and softball, the area will consist of Opp, Geneva, Hillcrest-Evergreen, and TR Miller. For volleyball it will be Opp, Geneva, and Hillcrest-Evergreen.
