Tromso vs Aalesund Tromso replaced midfielders Thomas Drage and Thomas Bendiksen, and suspended striker Zdenek Ondrasek, with Saliou Ciss, Morten Moldskred and Steffen Nystrom at Sandnes on the weekend. Tromso are now winless in six Tippeligaen games following their 2-1 loss at Sandnes on the weekend. They are increasingly slipping into the relegation picture and need a swift improvement to resurrect their season. Even at home, where they are traditionally so strong, things have hit a new low; they are without a victory at home in three league games for the first time since 2009. Aalesund remain in third place following their comfortable 3-1 home win against Sarpsborg on Sunday. Their free-scoring performances have seen the club lose just once in their last seven league games, and go unbeaten in their last three away outings. Aalesund are realistically the only team that can still challenge Rosenborg and Stromsgodset for the title, and they are only five points behind Stromsgodset following this weekend. Few teams can deal with Aalesund when they are at their attacking best. I think Aalesund will be too much for Tromso and manage a vital away victory. My recommendation for this match is “HHAD away win” for Aalesund.
