A very strange duck in the bite. Why we started with this community? Simple: We missed namely a collectionpoint were Dunglish was shared. You saw the Dunglish dive up on many places, but not one place fullstood. Make That The Cat Wise was the right name: it’s a nice Dunglish sentence and it is a funny expression. With this in our thoughts, decided we to create this Facebookpage. Now, 5 months later, we have a (Dunglish speaking) behindban with 100.000 likers. Not to believe! The 5 months in birdflight In the period of October we’ve searched a few days for the right style. Sentences or pictures or from everything what? Outendly we’ve choosen for the balloon pictures and they hitted in like a bomb. Okay, not immediately. Because many times people say: “haha, your English sucks” or “What are you dumb, go back to school say, you bake there nothing from”. It was clearly that the people understood there no ball from. We thought: ‘come on, we’ve called ourselves Make That The Cat Wise, you think that we speak correct English?’ How then also: the first month we’ve reached 300 followers, and one month later we welcomed the 10.000st liker! Not too believe. At that point we had become a notion for most people. Because of our ‘big’ behindban, it was for us possible to make statements, stab the dragon with news and famous Dutchies. Other people took us (figurely) serious. Fromoff that time we worked together with other humor-communities, and then began the booming months for us. Halfway January we sat on 50.000 followers and on it begin of February we had the 75.000. And in a half year we say: ‘We hate you welcome’ to the 100.000st! Some days there were more than 3000 new likers per day. Nice to know: our likers are sitting spread in more than 25 countries. After the booming days, some media picked us also up. Under others EditieNL, The Post Online, The World Turns Through, Radio 2, MSN Entertainment and Linda Magazine. Of course we don’t going to walk beside our shoes, hear! Speaking of our followers, what are we glad that we have them, say! Without them we never kicked it so far. Their inbring plays a big role in our success, because they inspire us to go through with spreading humor on a Dunglish manner. It must us from the heart that we find it too crazy for words that everyone is so positive about our page. That’s not fromselfspeaking today the day and sure not on the Social Media. We hope that everyone holds that fast. So we want to thank our behindban that you always stand ready for us in easy and hard times. Hopefully you will help us to the 250.000 What also nice was, was that we read many times that there are rising ‘friendships’ on our page. We’ve heard also that some people were going on the coffee by each other or underhold contact on an other way, after they met each other on our page. In the future we want to do more with our website. Today the day it stands still in the childshoes, but the beginning is there. We want to give our behindband more Dunglish and on many different ways. Also we want to fill our webshop with many nice products, like merchandise and a book. Of course we aren’t going to play for pushy farbuyers. No, it stands you free to buy or too buy not. Our humor is and stays free. But yes, MTTCW costs us money, so it would by nice if we earn some money by farbuying products that you love. Win-Win.
