Location of Center(as of 4:00 p.m.): 165 km northeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur or 190 km east of Surigao City Coordinates: 9.6°N 127.2°E Strength: Maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center Movement: Forecast to move West at 05 kph Forecast Positions/Outlook: Saturday afternoon:80 km North of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur or 75 km East of Butuan City Sunday afternoon: 50 km Southeast of Malaybalay, Bukidnon or 75 km Northwest of Davao City Monday afternoon: 130 km West of General Santos City Areas Having Public Storm Warning Signal Signal No. 1 (30-60 kph winds may be expected in at least 36 hours) Southern Leyte Surigao del Norte Siargao Is. Surigao del Sur Dinagat Province Agusan del Norte Agusan del Sur Davao Oriental Compostella Valley Estimated rainfall amount is from 5 - 15 mm per hour (moderate - heavy) within the 300 km diameter of the Tropical Depression. Tropical Depression AGATON will bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms over Central Visayas and the rest of Eastern Visayas. Sea travel is risky over the seaboards of Luzon, Visayas and Caraga Region.
