True Religion James 1:27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. As we know, the children and grandchildren are to look after their parents and once they enter old age and can no longer do for themselves. Even Jesus had a disciple look after His mother before He ascended into Heaven. But Jesus also sets another example for the church: that if the widow has no family to look after her, the church’s responsibility is to make sure she is taken care of. The only problem with this is, most churchs don’t look after the widows in their church at all. These women could need medical attention, someone to look after them on a daily basis, they could be suffering mentally, they have so many needs yet most congregations are led by men and women that do not carry out a true religion at all. Stop listening to messages and look at reality. Most churchs carry on with frivolous ministries that impact nothing, send money to places all over the earth while the widows suffer in the same seats week after week and you claim to follow a man or woman of God. Completely laughable! God calls you a lie…………………………you follow no religion at all, except that of demons. I haven’t even begun to touch on orphans, but I’m pretty sure you get the picture. For some of you it is hard to digest because you look at your pastor in such a great light, he/she has probably had dinner with you, and you might even know them personally. None of that matters to God, nor does He care. That only matters to human beings, yet it holds no weight on the scales in Heaven. I’ve been to numerous churchs throughout my life of all denominations, and not one of them look after the widows and orphans in their own church. Only a false religion will give an excuse as to why they don’t do it, and one looking forward to the Kingdom of God would repent, redirecting their time and resources to the widows and orphans among them. Now this is not true of every church across the globe, I’m pretty sure someone is leading the way. But this does represent the majority of church congregations across the globe(I do a lot of research). Now how many can actually say their church practices a true religion?
