True gold fears no fire! Why should CNRP worry? When SRP was the main opposition, HRP led by Kem Sokha was formed out of CCHR... with the big help from many of us in the US and Europe. The main reason was to give an alternative to those who were not happy with Sam Rainsys party. Some people may now taste their own medicine... Looking from the positive side, any competition or creation of a new political party or parties (if it is the case) should help strengthen or mend internal frictions among CNRP leaders... and it is also a good message for certain leaders or supporters of CNRP to start realizing that what they have been doing is counterproductive. I would suggest that all leaders of CNRP (or any current political party) to welcome any challenges from any group(s) or any political party(ies). Both SRP ad HRP have been traveling along the same path in the past... When HRP was formed, SRP complained. When Sam Rainsy stared his party, the previous ones had raised the same questions. It is better to welcome and to congratulate those who want to help the country in any way they can or want...All CNRP leaders need to do is to mind their own business and do the best they can and stop making serious mistakes. Be truthful to the people, and the people shall be truthful in return. The rest, let the Cambodian political landscaping take its course. The best party will shine... and the party which shines from within does not need spot lights ...or to worry about any competition. Those supporters who have been upset with CNRP need to have an alternative besides the CPP.
