True ignorance, in my opinion, is ditching real, lifelong friends over political differences. It is a sign of maturity to agree to disagree, it is ok and even healthy. You dont have to love everyones opinions, its ok to have a mind of your own. Just remember that when you need someone or when you need something, it is your friends, regardless of political affiliation, that usually step up to the plate. Obama, Bush, Pelosi, Cruz, couldnt possibly care less that youre ditching friends to build alliances for their causes. True friends stand by each other and allow one another the room to have differing opinions...except of course if youre liberal, then you cant opine :P (I kid, I kid) but think about it, it may be annoying but lets get over ourselves, Politicians are never going to show up to hold your hand, lend a shoulder to cry on, nor do they give a crap. Your friends are treasures, start treasuring them.
