True soul work means talking about the taboo, talking about the shit that gets in the way, the hard the ugly and the dark. Talking about it and owning it. We must be willing to encounter darkness and despair when they come up and face them, over and over again if need be, Without running away or numbing ourselves in the thousands of ways we conjure up to avoid the unavoidable. The dark dose not destroy the light, it defines it. Its our fear of the dark that cast our joy into the shadows when you talk about it, it takes the power away from it. Trudging through the swamp of the soul and rising up as the beautiful lotus that you truly are. Take a deep breath and form a lotus mudra. Heels of the palms together, thumb and pinky tips touching and let your fingers separate like blossoming lotus petals. Take many deep breaths here...smile:)
