True story...About a year and a half ago I had a procedure at Kaiser on Sunset. It wasnt a life threatening procedure but there was the slight possibility things could go very wrong. I had the procedure and thankfully things went well and the test proved negative. I checked out early, I did not have a reaction to the procedure. My bro-in-law Jim (who I kid and he kids me incessantly) called later in the day to see if I was still at the hospital so he could visit. When he asked the receptionist for me she said, Mr. Hernandez is no longer with us. He was momentarily at a loss for words. The receptionist must have realized he misunderstood and said, no he checked out!...My one dimensional bro-in-law was further stunned..until the receptionist said, No he was released from the hospital....LOL
