Trust, but verify. An old Russian proverb. Reagan popularized it in dealing with the USSR. Its meaning is to verify information no matter how reliable the source may seem. Trust, but verify. 1 Thessalonians 5:21 but test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good. God, forgive us when we gossip. When we listen and believe slanderous things about people. Forgive us when we rush to judgment without giving people the benefit of the doubt. Cleanse us from hated, bitterness and unforgivingness. 2 Corinthians 5:16-18 Luke 10:27 The man answered, “‘You must love the lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.’ And, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” Let this be our FOCUS! Let this be the reason to be different than the rest of the world! No matter the cost to our personal selves, let us do this with passion, sincerity and truth. Its not about me or you.
