“Truth divorced from experience must always dwell in the realm of doubt.” -Deitrich Bonhoeffer Chew on that for a bit.... Experience is what closes the gap of unbelief. Too many of us have purely just a knowledge of God because weve either been taught about Him or read about Him. But the difference between a knowledge of something and experiencing it 1st hand is an encounter with it. Ephesians 3:19 says May you EXPERIENCE the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God When we not only just know that God loves us but allow ourselves to receive the Fathers Love through experiencing Him we, like Ephesians says will live a FULL life! Too many times I think fear stops most of us from being vulnerable and taking Risk when we dont know the outcome. But I invite you to taste and see that The Lord is GOOD!! Friends just try Him, and if you already have do it again AND again, because as you pursue Him Hell pursue you. Dont go off of past experience or what hasnt worked before he calls you friend and like any friend if you never sit with him talk to him cry with him love on him and be loved back what kind of relationship is that? Just one of knowledge only. You will burn out like that. I dont know about you but all my friends/family have seen the good,bad and the ugly with me but because they know me Im not afraid to be vulnerable with them because they are for me and I am for them. Let Love tear down the walls and open the doors to your heart. Ask The Lord to show you how if you dont know how to. Even if its taking just one brick out of the wall youve built around your heart.
