Tsawout First Nation and Bridges for Women have developed a joint partnership to provide the 5 month program at Tsawout First Nation starting on July 8, 2013. As a result, we are hosting an information session/luncheon as follows: YOU ARE INVITED TO OUR INFORMATION SESSION AND LUNCH When: Tuesday June 11, 2013 Time: 12:00 to 1:30pm (Lunch will be served) Location: Tsawout Auditorium Bridges for Women is celebrating 25 years of success! They provide employment training and offer support to women who have been impacted by violence and/or abuse. Upon completion of the program, women reclaim their lives and are strong enough to return to school and/or find employment. The focus is to recognize and build on women’s core strength and resilience so that she can achieve her goals and dreams. Agenda: • Lunch • Introduction/overview of Bridges services • Bridges Graduate Guest Speaker • Questions • Discussion about how we fit into your community We look forward to meeting you. “It takes a community to support a person through a life change and healing process.”
