Tuesday, 09/07/14: THINGS THAT COUNT IN THE SIGHT OF GOD (2) PURE & PERFECT RELIGION Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. (James 1:27 KJV) Our Duties as Children of God are summed up in the above scripture. Unfortunately, pastors and church leaders emphasize ONLY on the first part, which is about VISITING & GIVING TO THE NEEDY and theyve neglected the second part, which is about HOLINESS/RIGHTEOUSNESS (BECOMING SPOTLESS FROM THE WORLD). Know this; Some givers and philanthropists will even go to Hell; But those who are spotless, cleansed and remaining faithful to God till the end/death will not go to Hell. So, in terms of priorities, which one do U have to seek first? Giving alms/donating to the poor OR, becoming spotless before God? Many people think, by their being generous, God will overlook the sins in their lives which they have not repented from. Please, be informed that we cannot buy God with our money. IT IS ONE THING TO BE A GIVER (Which, even sinners can be a Giver) AND IT IS ANOTHER THING TO BE GENUINELY SAVED/SPOTLESS (which, No Sinner can claim, without first repenting) Its my prayer God helps all of us to be more concerned about becoming Spotless and Genuine children of God First, and thereafter, ask for grace to be givers.
