Tuesday 6-20-13 MISCELLANEOUS THURSDAY MUCHIES (Lentils) Rinse and then boil in 1 qt water 1 c BROWN lentils. Cover, remove from heat and let stand 15 min. Drain, then spread on paper towels to dry. Spray baking sheet. Toss lentils with 2 T canola oil and spread on sheet in a single layer. Bake 10-15 min @ 425°, stirring often until they are crisp. Mix 1/2 t sea salt; 1/4 t onion powder; 1/4 t curry powder; and 1/8 t cayenne pepper. Sprinkle on and toss. Cover tightly and store airtight. NT
