Tuesday, June 11, 2013 - Broward Health North Hosts Spike Out Stroke Day More than 250 community members attended the event and more than 180 free screenings, including blood pressure checks, cholesterol/blood sugar screenings and carotid artery screenings, were provided. The large inflatable brain was in the BHN lobby all day and served to give a better understanding of the brain and risk for strokes and other neurological problems.
