Thank you, Lord for this day. Lord, please help us to not lose sight of the meaning and significance of your resurrection now that Easter is over. May we carry with us all year long the feelings and emotions that we experience during Easter week. May we grow stronger in you and in the power of your might. May we carry a sense of gratitude always for all you have done for us and may we live with joy in our hearts because our saviour lives. Lord, please comfort those who have heavy hearts and are missing loved ones that are not with them this Easter...you understand far better than anyone could, the sadness and sense of loss and we pray for your peace, grace and mercy to rain down on each of us. Help us to live our lives in a manner that is worthy of you and all you have done for us, Lord. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
