Tuesday Salutations. Life & Living. Have you ever been in company of some characters who talk about some topic or persons, so passionately you would think they are authorities in the subject at hand? When I had just been appointed Commanding Officer for the Then Northern Province in 2004, I was in company of a friend when some one he was about to introduce me too, upon being asked whether he knew the Police Chief for the province, went on eulogizing about the Provincial Police Chief that had nothing to do with me. He went as far as saying that in fact he was a personal friend of the Police Chief bla bla bla! You can guess the reaction upon being told that I was in fact the new police chief! When they are talking of some one or something they like or dont like, awe sure. Unfortunately, they are so endowed with charisma and conviction such that lesser souls would easily fall for their unfounded conviction. Enjoy the week!
