Tuesdays report from the European Retirement Tour! Saw Buckingham Palace today as the queen was out of town. The palace is only open for tours 3 weeks at the end of summer so we lucked out! The art work is wonderful! Rubins and Rembrandt and Van Dyke are my faves from todays art show. I am getting so European! Cris zoomed through the art areas and then I could hardly drag her away from the Childhood toys of the royalty exhibit! We saw the changing of the horse guards...I do love a man in uniform! After walking for miles and miles we then had high tea at a hotel near the palace...it was lovely. The fluffy cranberry scones with clotted cream were scrumptious! Saw the famous red telephone booths of London so. We leave London in the morning via the train...looking forward to our next adventure with Teri Kelly and her family in Paris .....ta ta for now.
