Tulasi (in Samskritam - Tulsi is Hindi/Bengali) Gabbard aka Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard from Hawaii is an elected member of the United States Congress. Here in Bhaarata (India) it is akin to being a Member of Parliament (MP). Such persons are the modern political leaders of society. Its strange and sad that while several ethnic Indians are elected in the USA to Congress, none of them profess teachings of B.Geeta. Tulsi Gabbard openly professes to be a Vaishnava, despite being a descendent of non-Hindus, and directly glorifies Lord Krishna and quotes from Bhagavad-gita! As it says in the Bhagavad-gita 3.21: yad yad ācarati śreṣṭhas tat tad evetaro janaḥ sa yat pramāṇaṁ kurute lokas tad anuvartate Translation: Whatever action a great man performs, common men follow.
