Tupper is a 1.5-2 year old German Shepherd who was found roaming - TopicsExpress

Tupper is a 1.5-2 year old German Shepherd who was found roaming the streets the day after the Fourth of July, however he does not appear to be worried by loud noises and is intrigued by the TV and sounds erupting from it. Tupper is very loving and sweet and wants nothing more than to be with his people and loving on them – or rather them on him. While no formal training we’ve been able to teach him some commands and he does well with Stay, Sit and (go to your) Blanket. He is also working on Come, Heel and Leave it. He walks well on a leash, and even though he gets a little distracted from time to time, when reminded of his commands he is attentive and can easily be corrected. Though he does not seem to be much of a ball chaser, his favorite thing (besides his people) may be bones. Given a raw hide bone Tupper will spend many an hour just happily chewing on it by your side. Tupper is similar to a teenage boy who hasn’t yet figured out his lankiness and size; he seems to think he is a lap dog even with weighing 75lbs. He is super friendly and enjoys meeting new people and is very high energy. He likes playing in water but is new to it and hasn’t figured out exactly what to do; he does like sprinklers and ice has also already enjoyed swimming in a pond and playing in the ocean. Above all else Tupper wishes to find a forever family that will love him, and let him love them back just as much (okay, maybe more!)!
