Turkey Scholarships 2014 Postgraduate Applications are now open Turkey Scholarship Postgraduate Programmes are full government funded programmes for successful international students from all over the world for postgraduate studies in Turkey. Turkey Scholarships offer both scholarship and admission to Turkey’s best universities. Application Starting Date : 03 March 2014 Application Deadline : 31 March 2014 Postgraduate scholarships are: • Ali Kuscu Science and Technology Scholarship Programme • Ibni Haldun Social Sciences Scholarship Programme • Yunus Erme Turkish Language Scholarship Programme • Islamic Theology Scholarship Programme Candidates can apply only one scholarship programme in accordance with their educational background and academic goals. Turkey Scholarships include both scholarship and university placement at the same time. Applications will be placed in a university and program among their preferences specified in the online application form. Most programs in Turkish universities are instructed in Turkish. However, some departments and universities offer programs in English, French or German. The candidates who want study in these languages need o an internationally recognized certificate to prove their language proficiency. Also, Most of these foreign language programs may ask international admission test scores such as GRE, GMAT etc. Candidates can check the language of instruction while selecting the programmes. There is also age conditions for candidates required to meet. For applicants applying to Undergraduate Degree: Those who were born no earlier than 01.01.1193, For applicants applying to Master’s Degree: Those who were born no earlier than 01.01.1984, For applicants applying to Ph.D. Degree: Those who were born no earlier than 01.01.1979, For applicants applying to Research Program: Those who were born no earlier than 01.01.1969, Applicants shouldn’t have any health problems barrier to education. It is expected to have certain academic score from candidates for each program and scholarship level. There are specific minimum score of the program that you are applying at “assessment and selection” section. Students who are currently studying in Turkey are not allowed to apply to the level that they are already studying . Turkish citizens and persons who lost Turkish citizenship cannot apply for this scholarship program. Turkey scholarships are open for all country citizens who meet these conditions.
