Turning the Tide and losing the Ground Let me clear that I am - TopicsExpress

Turning the Tide and losing the Ground Let me clear that I am 70 years old and retired from Govt. service. I am well off and satisfied with my life getting pension which is enough for two old family members and at all have no lust or greed for money. But I am too much worried for the youth and their future where there is lot of competition. In my time up to 1975, there was merit system and finding a job was no big problem. Now I see countless number of youth well educated but find no job and running from post to pillars. Those who are on the jobs and only dependent of salary are also in great trouble. Having remained on responsible job and passed through various regimes I can say, that the Governments of Military rulers were some what better than Civilian Governments in the first two years but latter on they succumbed to political pressures and became as bad as successive political Governments when appointments and political bribe went in to the hands of Elected members and they left no stone unturned towards nepotism, favoritism. I went through the Governments of PPP under Sherpao Sahib, ANP cum Muslim league, N, ANP cum JUI, MMA government, the worst, ANP full of fissures and fouls. So I have seen and tested those mentioned above. If you compare performances, the early years of Military regimes were far better than civilians. Having tired of the previous Governments, I am of the opinion that since the leadership of Imran Khan can be compared with Z.A Bhutto because he has delivered in Cricket, Health, in integrity and honesty, he may prove better than the rest for which we have to wait because Governments in developed countries like USA, Europe are run on the foot prints of respective Think Tanks in various fields who work silently and prepare policies and plans for implementation with actionable plans. The Political set up comes in front of the masses to advocate the policies and to attract masses. This element at present is also lacking in PTI and I expect that with experience it will come to them. If they follow the right track will deliver otherwise like others it will become a traditional political party.. It is 25rd day of sitting of PTI and PAT. What a joke. The PAT has been crying foul by Punjab Government of indiscriminate massacre 0f 14 innocent people while PTI has been running from post to pillar to make audit of 4 constituencies of the 2013 elections. None of the Parties and PML, N paid heed to PTI demand. Getting tired of any justice from courts or Government, these two parties had no alternative but to come to streets and it will bear fruits and at least will have a wide ranging effect of future politics. The JUI, ANP, and Sherpao parties on one hand are Prostatiquo, Dynesty based and have almost been uprooted in elections will naturally turn their guns against PTI and try to dislodge PTI in KPK so that they occupy KPK. Secondly they oppose each and every policy of PTI because under present circumstances they can not win elections. Same is the case of Parliamentarians to oppose PTI in Assembly because they are product of Rigging and cheating like Achakzai party will oppose any step to rectify the mistakes of 2013 elections. The PPP has turned on the one hand Zardari Party and it is 100% in Zardari control, it will stand by Nawaz Sharif, what may come because Zar Dari is not ready for any accountability which PTI insists if come in to power. The counting of votes in one constituency in Lahore officially revealed massive rigging while another of Sad Rafique is said to be the same but hurriedly, he got stay order. PTI has almost achieved its main objective but facing problems in resignation of PM. That does not matter. Nawaz Sharif tried his best to turn the tide but is losing ground of legitimacy and his Government has become too vulnerable and it may face decline in the days to come. Another tide is in the offing of high prices of necessities of life. Electricity bills have doubled in one year, Mobile Phones tax rate have 120% increased, Actual Critical Price Index(CPI) is up by 50% while raise in pension and salaries is 19%, the upper middle class is down to lower middle and lower middle to Extreme poverty Zone. All employees and retired masses are so enraged that they are ready to come to streets while Nawaz League is busy in rewarding their likes in projects like Metro bus, where Hanif Abbasi, the Epidrin case accused has been made made incharge o50 billion rupees and most of the projects which involve Cement and sarya have been signed with China on 7% loan, and the contract will be implemented with Chinese firms jointly by the offshore company of Nawaz league. Last night in TV talks I enjoyed the joke of Mola Bakhsh Chandio of PPP who said that PTI and PAT should have waited for 3 months more because PML, N is habitually not ready to sit on chairs for long because they feel the biting of bugs while sitting and soon it may happen.
