Turntablists have a very narrow minded scope of the people they could reach through their music. God put us on this earth to reach our full potential and the only way to accomplish that is by opening our minds to the infinite possibilities before us. So if youre attitude towards your craft, in this case DJing/Turntablism, is I only skratch or I only battle or I only play that real shit, youre literally turning your back at opportunities that have been laid out for you. If you want to grow your fan base, think beyond uploading videos of yourself scratching for 15 seconds. If you want to maximize your potential as a DJ, think past the DJ Battles. If you want to experience the full depth of your creativity, open yourself to all forms of music.
