Twas a sad day yesterday...having to put down our cat Bunny who evidently developed a brain tumor which resulted in his inability to walk, reaching a point where he had to more or less drag the hind portion of his body vs. normal walk. He had taken to hiding after breakfast during the week and darned if we could ever find him. Turns out he was crawling under the sofa in living room. Had heard that they will do that when they sense imminent death. Kath accompanied us (he was originally hers) and we all had a good cry and let him go peacefully. It was the only humane thing to do. :(
