Twelve Daze gets Gravesham in the swing A GROUP of council officers has produced a special version of the 12 Days of Christmas as the theme for Gravesend’s festive celebrations this year. The group – Twelve Daze – is made up of: Mark Lees (environmental health technician): vocals Matt Piper (print and mail assistant): lead guitar Adrian Hickmott (sports and recreation manager): bass guitar Martin Collins (technical services support officer): drums Their rock version of the carol is now available on the council’s You Tube channel and via Facebook. (youtube/graveshamtv) Another rendition – by the staff of The Woodville theatre – is also in video form. It launches a challenge to businesses and organisations to write and perform their own versions with a prize for the best videos. The pick of the entries will be shown on the big screen in Gravesend on 21 December. The winning entry will get 12 tickets to a Woodville show of their choice.
