Twenty seven surgeries Monday brings our total for the year to 2424. All the TNR kitties are done and ready to rest for a few days until they are returned to their colonies. The weather men are trying to make Tuesday a light day with all their predictions of the great white death aka SNOW on its way. Already cancellations are coming in sighting the weather and I only have 2 Sanctuary dogs to add to round out the Tuesdays crew surgical day. Winter adds so many challenges to ever single phase of our days here. I always wonder when a surgical patient cancels if we will get that pet back on the list before it gets pregnant or impregnates the neighbors dog or cat. Sick kitty still with us, have spoken with his Mom on several occasions via text messages. He is eating and his attitude is better but still bleeding from his gums, thank you Poinsettias or nasty virus for that added challenge. He is such a sweetie and lets me wash his mouth gently with him purring his thank yous all the time.
