Twenty years ago today, November 2nd 1994, a baby was born. He was my third son. His mother and I were not sure what we wanted to name him. He was either going to be Jacob or Daniel. So for the first hour or so after coming into this world he was nameless. When the people who do the birth certificates came in to ask what name we had decided on, his mom and I had decided that Danny would sound better than Jake....and so it was. Danny (as most of his family still calls him) was a very good baby and was always a great boy....now a great young man. I am so lucky to have the three sons I do. Mike was and is a great kid. Matt was and is a great kid. And Danny rounded up the group and has never let us down by also being a great kid. I am VERY proud of you Danny. If I had written a script/wish list of what my kids would be I would have fallen far short of what you guys have been. Some people ponder the meaning of life or why they were born. I never do. I understand that the reason I was put on earth was to make it a better place. Maybe I have done that to a degree with some of my own actions, but by helping bring you boys into the world I am CERTAIN that the world will be a better place. I Love You Danny. You are one of the best things that ever happened in my life. You make me proud...VERY proud.
