Twitter is rife with a lot of opinionated people at the moment and the debate about whether or not Scotland should be Independent of Westminster is high on the agenda and will be till it goes to the polls. Everyone has an opinion of what they think is best for their country, and everyone is entitled to their opinion. What I hate to see is bitter resentment against others for the choices that they make. John Barrowman has an opinion and that is his opinion I have mine, and Im not going to hate him for that. What would be the point. Hes not attacking me for the colour, race or creed, nor my gender orientation. He is stating how he sees Scotlands future and that is his opinion. Im not political, Im an individual, and Ive already made my decision on what I think is best for Scotland in my eyes and I wont be discussing nor debating it on Twitter or here. Because the one thing I have noticed over the years are that politics and religion can lose you friends, associates and a lot of fans and for that I will not be drawn into this debate. I know how Im voting, and thats between me and the ballot box. The people that kick off and make threats against someones decision on how they vote, whether they live in Scotland or not, or even those that are defending someones decision on how he or she is going to vote, social networking is viewed by millions of people every single second of the day and what you post out there, same as on here is read by millions of people every second, so think before you comment against another person, because your actions have consequences. Like I said, Im not political, I couldnt hold a political argument for longer than a few minutes because its unknown territory for me and I just know my opinion and how Im going to vote and I wont be swayed. Its the peoples vote and it will be interesting to see which way the wind blows this September. But lets just stop with the threats eh, theres no need for it. Respect the mans decision and leave it at that. You wouldnt like it if he told you how to vote would you? Vote how you want to vote, not how others tell you. Dont listen to propoganda. Go with your heart, with your gut feeling, not what others tell you. I like John Barrowman Official, I like him a lot, he makes me smile when I see him, he makes me really smile when hes Captain Jack and he makes me cry with laughter when hes on the panels at Conventions (viewed from Youtube) and ok theres been times when Ive not liked a decision hes made, but Im not going to hate him for it. As I said before, its his decision, his opinion, same as I have mine. Now lets move on from this and focus on other important things, life is too short for bitterness. DJ ~Jack~
