Two Best Friends Performing Lieder Abend and Cabaret Evening to benefit J&S Youth January 23, 2015 at 8pm At J&S Theatre 330 Cernon Street, Vacaville, Ca 95688 Join Jeremy Kreamer Tenor, Emma McNairy Soprano with Ben Malkevitch Piano for a recital to benefit J&S Youth theater in Vacaville! It is a Lieder Abend and Cabaret evening. Music by Clara Schumann, Schubert, Kurt Weill, Adam Guettel, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Bernstein, and more! Two Incredible Performers Jeremy Kreamer has been involved in the Bay Area theatre community since the age of 8. Jeremy received his Bachelor of Music degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in vocal performance in 2010. He is grateful and honored to have recently been nominated for a Theatre Bay Area award for his role as Patsy in Spamalot at Contra Costa Civic Theatre. Having recently joined the Actors Equity Union, Jeremys most recent performance was in the original Chanukah musical The MeshugaNutcracker where he performed in San Francisco and San Jose this past December. Some of his favorite roles include Sparky in Forever Plaid (Broadway by the Bay), Barfee in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Napa Valley Playhouse) and Papa Bambo in the national tour of Strega Nona (Bay Area Childrens Theatre and Maximum Entertainment Productions). Emma McNairy made a splash in the Bay Area opera scene as Zerbinetta in West Edge Operas Ariadne auf Naxos in 2011 shortly after graduating from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She has gone on to sing throughout the world in China’s National Center for Performing Arts with I SING BEIJING, in Thailand and London with Bangkok Opera, Germany and Chile with the Junges Stuttgarter Bach Ensemble, and a 4-month tour of the Netherlands as Poppea in MonteverdISH with Dutch companies VocaalLAB and ISH. She recently sang Frasquita (Carmen) in Marilyn Horne’s Music Academy of the West in 2014, where she was also a vocal fellow in 2013. She made her Carnegie Hall debut in 2013 in recital with bass, Hao Jiang Tian, and later in Carnegie’s Weill Hall with The Song Continues in Martin Katz’s masterclass. She has sung Clorinda (La Cenerentola) with Livermore Valley Opera, Poppea (L’incoronazione di Poppea) and the title role in Elisabetta, regina d’Inghilterra with West Edge Opera, Monica (The Medium) and Zerlina (Don Giovanni) with Cinnabar Opera, Lucy (The Telephone) and Laetitia (The Old Maid and the Thief) in Oregon with Brava! Opera Theater, and was a young artist with Opera New Jersey and Opera in the Ozarks. This spring she covers the title role in Lucia di Lammermoor with Livermore Valley Opera, sings Mozart’s Requiem and Handel’s Dixit Dominus with Chorus Austin, and will sing her dream role, the title role in Alban Berg’s Lulu, with West Edge Opera this summer in Oakland.
