This Senior Mobile Developer will be responsible for mobile app design and development using tools such as Xcode, Android Development Toolkit, Eclipse, including cross-platform IDEs for mobile development. A demonstrated track record developing high-quality mobile web apps containing rich content and user interface components, using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, and REST technologies, with support for a range of different mobile phones and tablets but with a focus on Android and iOS. Leading JavaScript libraries and frameworks for mobile web development (such as JQuery, JQuery Mobile, Backbone, Underscore, Require, and PhoneGap), and ability to compare related open source tools on the basis of performance, complexity, and opportunity for code reuse. Familiarity working with touch interfaces, mobile gesture support, flexible CSS layout, security, and tight AJAX server integration (notifications, WebSockets, JSON) and interaction with different kinds of back-end services.
