Two Cornish icons in one day. The Minack theatre (an open air theatre built by a lady from Derbyshire called Rowena Cade. She started to build the Minack when she was about my age, dragging massive stones and all the sand up from the beach below to form the seating. It took 7 years and is listed as one of the worlds greatest theatres. Minack in Cornish means rocky) and St Michaels Mount (a tidal island with a man made causeway which is beautiful to visit rain or shine). Plus dinner with old friends, Malcolm & Trish. Lush.
