Two MSU undergraduate history majors, Tracey Newport and Ben - TopicsExpress

Two MSU undergraduate history majors, Tracey Newport and Ben Linzy, recently delivered papers on a panel titled 20th Century Foreign Affairs at the 36th Annual Mid-American Conference on History held at the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith. Mr. Newports paper was titled Central African Republic, and Mr. Linzys paper bore the title The Rivalry: Saddam Hussein, Ayatollah Khomeini, Arab-Nationalism and Islamic Fundamentalism in the Iran-Iraq War, 1980-1988. Panel attendees included multiple professors from throughout the University of Arkansas system. These students participation in the conference is especially impressive, considering that few, if any other undergraduates, gave talks there. Mr. Newport and Mr. Linzy deserve great credit for their work.
