Two No2ZoneF organizers visited Chris Middleton today at city council offices. He accepted a copy of the petition and said it would be logged as an opposition. He said he felt that the consultation in April had been fair because everyone had had their say - the fact that the result overall the zones showed 52% of people didnt want it seemed to bypass him!!! - but had no answer as to why we found a 6:1 opposition to the scheme. He did let slip that there was still quite active opposition to the original Westcotes scheme and as their end date is April 2015 it will be interesting to see how the experimental scheme is evaluated.
