Two examples of modern Britain crossed my path today: 1 Elf n Safety - I bought a mini step ladder from Aldi. There were minimal instructions but this one caught my eye. We strongly recommend that you do not use this device after drinking heavily. I ask you!!. Jayne, Im completely pissed, any idea where my ladders are, I was just thinking of going on the roof for a bit!!!!!!!!! 2 Cheeky sods - Some kid rings the door bell, if I recall, something similar to this happened a couple of years ago, albeit this was a different kid. Him - Trick or treat. Me - Isnt Halloween tomorrow? Him - Yes but Im playing football with my mates then so Ive come today instead Me - Sod off. My mate Kevin does a very good Victor Meldrew impression but at this rate Ill soon be on a par with him!!
