Two killed in Mogotio road accident Via #TheStandard Two people died on the spot and two others critically injured after the driver of the vehicle they were traveling in lost control hitting a tree at Emining area along Mogotio-Marigat road in Baringo County. According to witnesses, the vehicle which was headed to Mogotio from Marigat was speeding when one of its tires burst before hitting the tree. It was around 7am when I heard a screeching sound. I rushed to the scene where I found the mangled vehicle with the two dead and others seriously injured, said a witness. The two injured were a man and a woman and they were rushed to different hospitals in Nakuru town where they are receiving treatment. Area Traffic Base Commandant Peter Ndambuki, who visited the scene, said the driver of Station Wagon vehicle is suspected to have been speeding along the steep road when the accident occurred.
