Two men have been banned from the roads as our crackdown on drink driving continues. The men both received lengthy driving bans when they appeared before magistrates over the past week. Rajinder Singh Rathore, 56, from Leeds, was disqualified from driving for almost four years while Nicholas David Matthews, 36, from Harrogate, was banned for three years. Rathore, was arrested following a road traffic collision on the A59 at Kex Gill Moor near Otley on 20 May 2014. He was almost three times the drink drive limit at the time of the incident. Matthews, was almost five times over the drink drive limit when officers stopped his Fiat Punto outside his home address on 21 August 2014.
