Two nights ago, my father suffered a stroke (MRI revealed Multiple Minor Infarctions), his right side had gone limp and his speech was almost completely gone. Fortunately, in a few hours, he regained the ability to speak a little and move his right hand. After bouncing around hospitals (Mahroof was useless, PIMS had zero space to accommodate him) we went to Shifa. Now, he can sit up on his own, his right hand side has regained a considerable amount of strength (hand and leg), he eats on his own, speaks a few sentences at a time (some harder to understand than others). He is still under observation for another 48 hours, but he is recovering well Maash-Allah. Physiotherapy has begun, he is being cared for constantly. Thank you for everyone who called and everyone who prayed.
