Two of our cats, Calvin and Bengali, had their annual exams this past week. Both cats had blood work done and each were thoroughly examined by Dr. Hobbs. Calvin was declawed prior to arriving at Tiger Creek. If a declaw job is not done properly the nails can start growing back. It can also cause the cat to not walk properly. Dr. Hobbs checked Calvins pads for any sores or nail growth. During his examine a small cyst was found on his hind quarter. Since he was already sedated Dr. Hobbs went ahead and removed the cyst and had it sent off for testing. Terri, our director and co-founder, took advantage of Calvin being sedated to clean his teeth. Bengalis check up went well. Terri trimmed her nails while she was still sedated. The pictures are of Calvin getting his teeth cleaned by Terri and Dr. Hobbs removing the cyst.
