Two people are dead after a shooting at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, North Carolina yesterday. Law enforcement is reporting that a 28-year-old suspect entered the hospital and went to the 3rd floor Labor and Delivery unit. The suspect then shot and killed a 27-year-old female before turning the gun on himself. This type of incident is becoming more and more commonplace and underscores the importance of training hospital staff to prevent and react in these situations. Threat Suppression has created the program "WATCH: Workplace Awareness for Terrorism and Crimes in Hospitals".
