Two recent political events have shown how far down the Samuelsen/Utano/Downs Administration has taken TWU Local 100 from its past Aministration led by Roger Toussaint.The events being last Saturdays March and Rally against Police Violence and Justice for Eric Garner on Staten Island and Local 100s support for Andrew Cuomo in the WFP,Working Families Party and the Democratic Primary.Last Saturdays March and Rally,the Local put out a call to attend at 3P.M. the afternoon before.They ended up with a contingent of a dozen people,officers and staffamong the 6,500 folks who attended.The former Administration would have endorsed it from the start,would have had a role in defining it,would have played a big role in it,,would have organized several hundred members to attend.On the WFPs Endorsement of Cuomo and the locals support of this,the exact opposite would have occurred if the previous Administration were still in charge.They would have led the fight against the WFP supporting the phoney Democrat and anti-union Cuomo.There would be another union endorsement of the Teachout/Wu Campaign.What cowards Samuelsen/Utano/Downs are.
