Two runaway girls rescued at Katpadi station : Police personnel attached to the Railway Protection Force rescued two girls who travelled from Bangalore to Katpadi without their parent’s knowledge, on Wednesday. The girls were identified as Aishwarya (11) and Babloo (8). Mani, Aishwarya’s father, a farmer at Brahmapuram near Katpadi, who planned to settle in Bangalore, took her to Bangalore and left her at their relatives’ house. Later, Aishwarya, who wanted to meet her parents, travelled with her friend Babloo (8) from Bangalore to Katpadi. They boarded the Bangalore- Chennai Bangalore Mail on Tuesday night. When the train stopped at Katpadi Junction around 2.30 am on Wednesday, the police attached to the Railway Protection Force led by inspector R Duraisamy found them wandering.
